ABOUT THE OWNER, MS. JAYA 

Opening up a Montessori school has been my dream for awhile.  After working as a Project Manager for Accenture, LLC for three years, I finally decided to follow my heart and true desire of working with children.  Being a Montessori child myself and having an aunt who owns a Montessori school, I was around the Montessori philosophy my whole life.  I saw firsthand the difference it made in children's lives and how advanced each child developed under the Montessori Method.  After training in London, England for a year at the Maria Montessori Institute under the well-known Director of Training, Lynn Lawrence, I became even more passionate and a strong believer in the Montessori philosophy.  I then moved to Chicago where I taught 3-6 year olds at a Montessori school in the west suburbs.    Being a part of the lives and education of these growing children had a beautiful and lasting effect on me.  After getting married and moving back to Michigan, I decided this was the time to intertwine my Business degree from the University of Michigan and my Montessori Education together to start a top-notch school to help aid children for life.  I encourage parents to learn what a Montessori education is all about.  Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions.  My door and heart are always open to children and families wanting to build a foundation for lifelong learning.
