where your child can run, jump, laugh, and sing with friends – and learn a lot along the way!   CAMP MMCA,

Michigan Montessori Children’s Academy Summer Program, is offered to children 18 months through six

years old.  The program will offer Montessori skill building activities.  In addition, weekly themes will enhance 

the program and include: Cooking, Art, Science, Gardening, Music, Games, Outside & Water Play, etc.

 

Your child may join us for the whole summer or for just a few weeks. Choose from half-day and full-day programs in any combination.   Your child will be welcomed into our Montessori classrooms where a sense of wonder and order awaits.  

 

Camp MMCA is open to current MMCA families and new families joining in the Fall are also welcome.  If your child is not currently enrolled at MMCA, but you are interested in exploring our Montessori-style approach to personalized learning, enrolling your child in our themed Summer Program is a good way to get a taste of our school.  In this case, there is a two-week minimum attendance requirement for your child.

 

Beginning lessons of Montessori – such as using rugs and trays – help define the play/work space. We introduce the importance of completing activities, taking turns, and interacting positively with friends. Our young campers explore practical life activities, and our sensorial works pique your child’s particular interests.
